Our Story

Whilst the constraints of gender continue to force the fashion industry into boxes, our designs are made to be worn by anyone. Byroses isn’t just for men, it is a brand for humans. This journey allows to explore gender and hopefully push men outside the societal expectations of what it means to be masculine.

Byroses was imagined whilst day dreaming on a road trip around rural France and Spain in 2019. During the first of many lockdowns in 2020 the project became a tonic to ease many dull days spent at home. During this time we watched a webinar where Marc Jacobs said “Out of emergency comes EMERGE” and with that as a driving force the work accelerated and Byroses was born.

Inspired by road trips, relationships, vulnerability and love; a dreamy, nostalgic look at special memories, escapism and romance.

At Byroses we are striving to create a slow fashion brand that goes against the pressures of fast fashion. We believe that clothes should last a lifetime, not just a season.
